From first splash to advanced squads
Follow your child's journey through each level. Every stage builds on the last, with clear skills to master before progressing.
Infant Confidence (4–6 months+): Water familiarisation with a parent — becoming comfortable in the water, gentle submersions and floating with support.
Tadpoles: Independence and confidence — unassisted floating, kicking with a board and early breath control.
Beginners: Basic movement — 5–10m of freestyle and backstroke with support, plus safe entry and exit.
Intermediate: Stroke development — 15–25m of freestyle and backstroke and an introduction to breaststroke.
Advanced: Stroke refinement — 25m+ of all strokes, torpedo and streamline work, and building endurance.
Squads: Fitness and technique — continuous laps, all four strokes, tumble turns and structured training sets.
